Position Summary: To lead the second shift of maintenance and custodial personnel, whose major responsibility is providing the student and staff with safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient buildings and outdoor area in which to learn, play and develop.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma is required.
  • Background in real estate is required.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of construction codes, health and safety regulations, financial and management practices, purchasing, supervising and motivation of personnel, and state and local maintenance of buildings and equipment.
  • Experience in general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling and other building systems.
  • Have excellent leadership and organizational skills and the ability to motivate
  • Have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and
  • Exhibit a personality that demonstrates interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary.
  • Demonstrate the ability to use computers for word processing, data management, and telecommunications.
