The Islamic Academy of Alabama is seeking dedicated, passionate individuals to join our team as full-time Arabic and Islam teachers. Ideal candidates will have experience teaching in the US, will work well with others, and have excellent communication skills. The right candidate will also have an established background in teaching Arabic or Islam and a passion for the subject and the ability to inspire students to excel.

Responsibilities:

1. Deeply understand the subject and establish clear learning targets for every lesson.
2. Build rigorous and aligned assessments and consistently implement high leverage practices.
3. Regularly update lesson plans and materials.
4. Build a productive classroom culture to promote a growth mindset.
5. Consistently develop strong relationships with students and parents while diligently relaying expectations, news, and/or concerns.
6. Actively participate in professional learning opportunities.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $32,000.00 – $42,000.00 per year
