Member School Spotlight – Sanabil Schools

Sanabil Schools is a Pre-K to 5th Grade private Islamic school with two locations in Howard County, Maryland. As a community-based, affordable Muslim school, we strive to guide our students to become responsible, caring citizens who will grow up and positively contribute to making the world a better place for themselves, their community, and all future generations! Sanabil Learning Center’s preschool curriculum ensures that students advance to Kindergarten with all the core academic readiness skills while placing an added concentration on developing a child’s mathematical and scientific thinking skills. Our early learning curriculum follows a Montessori philosophy, where our students learn the necessary skills to prepare for their transition to Kindergarten, including interpersonal relationships between peers, experiential hands-on learning, a focus on written and oral communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and independence through daily activities.  At Sanabil Elementary School, we believe in empowering Muslim youth to develop knowledge and an understanding of the world with our S.T.R.E.A.M. Education Initiative. STREAM stands for Science, Technology, Reading/Religion, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. STREAM Education is a diversified approach and project-based, hands-on learning that suits all types of learners. We’re the first Islamic school to implement this cutting-edge approach, setting new standards for excellence!
