Elementary Teachers K-3rd grade

The Islamic Academy of Alabama is seeking a dedicated, passionate individual to join our team as a full-time elementary teacher. Ideal candidates will have no problem working with students and staff, know how to work well with others, and have excellent communication skills. The right candidate will also have an established background in Elementary Education and a passion for the subject and the ability to inspire students to excel.

Responsibilities:

1. Deeply understand the First Grade Standards and establish clear learning targets for every lesson.
2. Build rigorous and aligned assessments and consistently implement high leverage practices.
3. Regularly update lesson plans and materials.
4. Build a productive classroom culture to promote a growth mindset.
5. Consistently develop strong relationships with students and parents while diligently relaying expectations, news, and/or concerns.
6. Actively participate in professional learning opportunities.

Pay: $32,000.00 – $42,000.00 per year
